Questions parents ask
IGCSE, IB & A-Level CS: FAQs
Which exam boards do you teach?
Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level, Edexcel, AQA and OCR, and IB Diploma Computer Science. Every student gets a plan built around their board's specification and exam dates.
Do you help with the IB Internal Assessment or A-Level coursework?
Yes, with planning, technical guidance and feedback, within the rules of the exam board. The student writes their own code and documentation; the work has to be theirs.
Is Python enough for IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science?
Python is accepted for programming by most boards and is a good choice. Exams also use pseudocode, so lessons cover translating between the two.
What time are sessions for students in the UK and Europe?
Weekday sessions run in the late afternoon and early evening UK time, after school. The time zone note on this page shows the exact hours for where you are.
